2022: A Year of Giving Back

As each year comes to a close, we like to take a look back and reflect on what we’ve accomplished. Giving back to the community has always been a goal for our team, but in 2022, it really became a priority. We are proud to say our team collectively performed nearly 400 volunteer hours—WOW. We formed partnerships with various nonprofits and found ways to bring our unique skill sets as a career service organization to those who need it most. As it is the season of giving, we’d like to reflect on some of the great work our team did this year.

A Few Highlights From the Year

We partnered with Hope Against Trafficking to create a Job Preparedness Program to help victims of human trafficking return to the workplace. This included mock interviews, resume and cover letter creation, and general workplace guidance through one-on-one training with our recruiters. So far every woman who has completed the training has found employment.

Our staff also helped with many other volunteer projects with Hope Against Trafficking including raking leaves in the yard, fundraising, and more.

Our girls packed backpacks every other week with Blessings in a Backpack to ensure students in our community did not go hungry. Each week meals are packed for lower income families to take home and eat over the weekend.

We helped set up for the Believe in Miracles Foundation’s Jennabration event, as well as participating in their annual ice cream fundraising event. This organization hits near and dear to our hearts, as several of our employees knew and loved Jenna, the inspiration for this foundation.

We partnered with Embassy Suites Troy to decorate one of their suites for their Trick or Suite event in October. This event is held with the Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan and allows sick children to have a safe and healthy Halloween experience. Our team went with a spider web theme and helped give these children a night to remember.

Every year our team sponsors families through OLHSA who have fallen on hard times, to ensure they have the Christmas they deserve. Our team crossed off every item on their wish list and then some to ensure a merry Christmas!

Thank You to Our Entech Staff

There are so many more ways our staff gave back this year, and we are so proud of the impact our team made in our community. We strive to continue these efforts in the year to come.

If you would like to learn more about any of the organizations mentioned, please check out the websites linked above or get in touch with us! We would be happy to spread awareness about our amazing partners that are making strides in our community.
