Maintenance Technician

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a position in Detroit, MI! This position is paying $27-29/hour and is a year long assignment with potential for permanent hire.

 

Duties:

Implements changes and verifies correct completion.

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. 

Teach robot path programs: Weld, and Material Handling.

Set up, and test signals between Robot / PLC interface

Make necessary changes to achieve cycle time.

Document all changes to PLC programs, robot programs, weld schedules, EOAT, fixtures, and sequence changes. Also Back up PLC programs, robot programs and parameters

Evaluates product changes and impact to weld equipment.

Makes recommendations to product and tool designs for improvement.

 

Requirements:

Able to study and understand mechanical sequence, controls drawings and ladder logic.

Have a strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatics, understanding of automated tooling

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; smell; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
