Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Process Technician for a position in Troy, MI! This position is paying $24-28/hour and begins right away!
Duties:
Execute tear down, set-up procedures on production jobs within standard time allotment.
Setup line to produce conforming product following all steps and process parameters specified on set up sheet.
Ensure all standard work practices are followed for aligning and securing or tools and equipment
Ensure all components of extruder and tooling temperature controls are functioning properly including heater bands, thermal couples, crossover tubes and barrel zones
Ensure material dryers and alarms are on and functioning properly
Ensure Stamping dies, lead ins and other inline tooling are in good repair and functioning properly prior to startup.
Ensure all inline equipment is configured, positioned and functioning properly including waters tanks, printers, cutters, pullers, misters, presses and heaters prior to startup.
Review all applicable quality alerts prior to start up.
Startup line and obtain first article approval within acceptable scrap limits.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation including startup/shutdown checklist, process monitoring, in process check sheets, production recording and scrap accounting.
Red tag any tooling or equipment that is not functioning and return to maintenance or tool room areas.
Train and mentor apprentice technicians as assigned
Update set up sheets based on process improvements
Complete tech log daily.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to operate forklift
- 3+ years experience
- Able to read and interpret instructions and blue prints
